Webinar to Solicit Input on the Resilient and Efficient Codes Implementation (RECI) Federal Funding Opportunity

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a webinar to solicit input from local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) and other interested parties on federal funding proposal ideas developed by CEC staff for the upcoming Resilient and Efficient Codes Implementation (RECI) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) that is expected to be issued by the United States Department of Energy (DOE). The proposal ideas focus on supporting local AHJs with California Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code) enforcement by developing and piloting innovative digital compliance software that will streamline the compliance, implementation, and enforcement process.

The public can participate in the webinar by following the remote attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.<
