Staff Workshop on Publicly Owned Utility Integrated Resource Plan Guidelines

California Energy Commission (CEC) staff will host a remote-access workshop to present proposed revisions to the Publicly Owned Utility (POU) Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) Submission and Review Guidelines (Guidelines) and solicit stakeholder feedback. The proposed revisions incorporate changes established by Senate Bill (SB) 437 (Wieckowski, Chapter 138, Statutes of 2022) and other updates.

In addition, the CEC is requesting comment from interested stakeholders regarding the proposed revisions to the guidelines. POUs are also requested to provide information on the process and schedule for updating their IRPs once every five years consistent with SB 350 (De Leon, Chapter 547, Statutes of 2015) requirements.

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the direction provided below. Please note that the CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the agenda proposed. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time depending on various factors.
