JAEDI Proceeding Workshop

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a hybrid workshop in-person at the Warren Alquist Building in Sacramento and remotely via Zoom. The workshop is focused on introducing the CEC's Justice Access Equity Diversity Inclusion (JAEDI) informational proceeding and discussing the CEC’s JAEDI Framework. Led by Commissioner Gallardo and CEC staff, this workshop will:

• Explain the purpose of the JAEDI informational proceeding and its objectives,
• Provide an overview of the JAEDI Framework,
• Feature CEC staff who will discuss how JAEDI principles are being embedded into CEC programs and policies, and
• Enable public input regarding how the CEC should continue advancing equity and environmental justice in its efforts.

This hybrid workshop scheduled for September 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. will aim to begin promptly at the scheduled start time, with the end time being an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may conclude earlier or later than the posted end time. The public is invited to participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below.
