Workshop on Gross Gasoline Refining Margin Framework

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to explore structures for determining a potential maximum gross gasoline refining margin (max margin) and penalty pursuant to Public Resources Code section 25355.5. This workshop will involve discussion of possible frameworks for a potential max margin and penalty; no action will be taken. A decision on whether to set a max margin and penalty, if any, is subject to CEC approval and would be decided at a future CEC business meeting.
