Add to CalendarThe California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a remote-access workshop to solicit comments on California’s progress in improving load flexibility resources and the strategies to achieve 7 gigawatt (GW) load-shift by 2030. The workshop provides an opportunity for commissioners, electricity resource planners, CEC staff, and stakeholders to obtain further insight into load flexibility implementation. The information gained from this workshop will inform the Senate Bill 846 (Dodd, Chapter 239, Statutes of 2022) Load-Shift Goal requirement of the 2025 Integrated Energy Policy Report (2025 IEPR).
This workshop is part of the 2025 IEPR proceeding. Chair David Hochschild is the CEC’s lead commissioner for the 2025 IEPR, with Vice Chair Siva Gunda as the associate commissioner. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
The public can participate consistent with the attendance instructions below.
