The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop on the draft Senate Bill 237 (SB 237) Assessment. SB 237 (Grayson, Chapter 118, Statutes of 2025) requires the CEC to evaluate the recommendations and strategies put forward by Vice Chair Siva Gunda in the June 27, 2025, letter to California Governor Newsom. The assessment must also offer recommendations on potential changes to working group authorities or structures, including on permitting changes and reforms, which may include one-stop-shop permitting.

The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed schedule. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.

A quorum of Independent Consumer Fuels Advisory Committee members may participate, but no votes will be taken.
