Add to CalendarThe California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to review changes and updates to various 2026 Integrated Energy Policy Report Update (2026 IEPR Update) energy demand forecast load modifiers and the electricity rate forecast.
Load modifiers discussed in this workshop will include Behind-the-Meter PV and Storage, Additional Achievable Energy Efficiency, Additional Achievable Fuel Substitution, and Additional Achievable Transportation Electrification.
This workshop is part of the 2026 IEPR Update proceeding. Chair David Hochschild is the CEC’s Lead Commissioner for the 2026 IEPR Update. Vice Chair Siva Gunda is Associate Member for the California Electricity Demand Forecast.
The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted, and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions.
