This Localized Health Impacts Report describes the potential health impacts to the local community from a project seeking California Energy Commission (CEC) funding under competitive grant solicitation GFO-24-609, “Charging Interoperability and Collaboration Yard (Charge Yard).” This grant initiative seeks to provide an open and neutral space for industry collaboration, knowledge sharing, interoperability testing, and conformance testing for electric vehicle charging equipment. CEC staff has proposed one project for award under solicitation GFO-24-609 at one project location. Based on project site information provided by the awardee, the community where the project is located is not considered a high-risk community. Staff does not anticipate a net increase in the pollution burden for the community where this project is located.
