Dynacraft BSC Incorporated (Dynacraft) is an American Canyon, California, based company that manufactures electric recreational vehicles (e.g. electric scooters, skateboards, etc.). Dynacraft sold or offered for sale 652 electric recreational vehicles in California, during the period of July 2015 to February 2018. 

This case was the result of an investigation conducted by California Energy Commission (Energy Commission) staff. The Energy Commission's investigation and testing process identified Dynacraft manufacturing and offering for sale electric recreational vehicles not certified to the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS). 

To settle this matter, Dynacraft executed a Settlement Agreement with the Energy Commission on February 19, 2019, for $29,550.00. The penalty monies are deposited into the Appliance Efficiency Enforcement Subaccount established by SB 454 of 2011 (Pavley). Dynacraft has also agreed to a compliance plan to certify each model to MAEDbS before continuing to sell in California.
