Eileen Grays, LLC (Eileen Grays) is a company that manufactures plumbing products and fans and dehumidifiers based in Chatsworth, California. Eileen Grays sold or offered for sale ceiling fans, ceiling fan light kits, lavatory faucets, kitchen faucets, and showerheads in California, from October 2020 to October 2024.

This case was the result of an investigation performed by California Energy Commission (CEC) staff. CEC’s investigation and testing process identified that Eileen Grays was manufacturing and offering for sale Parrot Uncle brand ceiling fans, ceiling fan light kits, lavatory faucets, kitchen faucets, and showerheads that did not meet the efficiency standard, were not marked properly, and were not certified to the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS).

To resolve this matter, Eileen Grays executed a Settlement Agreement with CEC on June 22, 2026, for $85,000.00. The penalty monies are deposited into the Appliance Efficiency Enforcement Subaccount as required in Public Resources Code section 25402.11. Eileen Grays has also agreed to a compliance plan to discontinue sales of non-compliant models, add the appropriate marking, and test and certify all compliant models to MAEDbS before continuing to sell in California.
