Eviva, LLC (Eviva) is a Monroe Township, New Jersey based company that manufactures plumbing fittings. Eviva sold or offered for sale lavatory faucets, showerheads and showerheads-tub spout diverter combinations in California, from February 2019 to February 2023.

This case was the result of an investigation performed by California Energy Commission (CEC) staff. CEC’s investigation and testing process identified that Eviva was manufacturing and offering for sale lavatory faucets and showerheads that did not meet the efficiency standard, failed the marking requirement, and were not certified to the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS).

To settle this matter, Eviva executed a Settlement Agreement with CEC on June 14, 2023, for $6,381.00. The penalty monies are deposited into the Appliance Efficiency Enforcement Subaccount established by SB 454 of 2011 (Pavley). Eviva has also agreed to a compliance plan to discontinue sales of non-compliant models in California.
