Xiamen Galenpoo Kitchen and Bathroom Technology Company (Xiamen) is a company that manufactures plumbing fittings based in Fuijan, China. Xiamen sold or offered for sale showerheads in California, from January 2025 to June 2025.

This case was the result of a complaint. CEC’s investigation and testing process identified that Xiamen was manufacturing and offering for sale Bozybo brand showerheads that did not meet the efficiency standard and were not marked properly.

To resolve this matter, Xiamen executed a Settlement Agreement with CEC on June 14, 2026, for $10,600.00. The penalty monies are deposited into the Appliance Efficiency Enforcement Subaccount as required in Public Resources Code section 25402.11. Xiamen has also agreed to a compliance plan to redesign the non-compliant model to meet the efficiency standard and add the appropriate marking before continuing to sell in California.
