Xidax, LLC is a company that manufactures computers based in Midvale, Utah. Xidax, LLC sold or offered for sale desktop computers in California, from September 2021 to September 2025.

This case was the result of an investigation performed by California Energy Commission (CEC) staff. CEC’s investigation and testing process identified that Xidax, LLC was manufacturing and offering for sale desktop computers that were not marked properly and were not certified to the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS).

To resolve this matter, Xidax, LLC executed a Settlement Agreement with CEC on July 20, 2026, for $30,000.00. The penalty monies are deposited into the Appliance Efficiency Enforcement Subaccount as required in Public Resources Code section 25402.11. Xidax, LLC has also agreed to a compliance plan to add the appropriate marking and test and certify all models to MAEDbS before continuing to sell in California.
