ZenFresh, LLC (ZenFresh) is a Las Vegas, Nevada, based company that manufactures a showerhead. ZenFresh sold or offered for sale the showerhead in California, from July 2015 to February 2020.

This case was the result of an investigation performed by California Energy Commission (CEC) staff. CEC's investigation and testing process identified that ZenFresh was manufacturing and offering for sale a showerhead model that did not meet the efficiency standard, was not marked correctly, and was not certified to the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS).

To settle this matter, Zenfresh executed a Settlement Agreement with CEC on May 26, 2020, for $1,139.00. The penalty monies are deposited into the Appliance Efficiency Enforcement Subaccount established by SB 454 of 2011 (Pavley). ZenFresh has also agreed to a compliance plan to discontinue sales of the non-compliant showerhead in California.
