CA Energy Demand Forecast: 2025 IEPR Revised Result

Please join us for an upcoming Demand Analysis Working Group (DAWG) meeting on Monday, January 5 from 10:30am to 12:00pm, to discuss the California Energy Demand Forecast revised results for the 2025 Integrated Energy Policy Report (IEPR). The meeting will be virtual only. Zoom information is at the bottom of this notice.

The key topics of discussion for this DAWG meeting will be the revised results for the data centers, known loads, and their impacts to the hourly forecast. This meeting is informational in nature; staff intends to propose adoption of these results at the CEC Business Meeting on January 20, 2026, and the schedule does not allow time for additional revisions to the forecast.
