California Energy Commission (CEC) staff will host a two-day virtual forum to highlight innovative new clean energy technologies that can help reimagine new and existing building development to achieve carbon neutrality in the electricity sector by 2045.

This technical forum is part of the CEC’s administration of the Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC). Through EPIC, the CEC invests more than $130 million annually in new technology breakthroughs to transform the electricity sector to meet California’s energy and climate policy goals and bring increased benefits to electric ratepayers in the state’s three largest investor-owned utilities - Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison, and San Diego Gas & Electric Company.

A quorum of CEC and California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Commissioners may participate, but no votes will be taken.
