The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a second and final staff workshop to engage with stakeholders regarding cost-effectiveness methodologies to support proposed changes to the 2025 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code). This workshop will provide updates on the material presented in the first energy accounting workshop, conducted on July 18, 2022, and is part of the CEC’s preliminary rulemaking activities for the 2025 Energy Code.

The workshop will be held remotely, consistent with Senate Bill 189 (Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review, Statutes of 2022) to improve and enhance public access to state meetings. The public can participate in the workshop as described below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the posted start time. A quorum of commissioners may participate but no votes will be taken.
