Staff Workshop 2025 Energy Code Cooling Tower, Process Load Pipe Insulation, Solar Pool and Spa Heating, Residential HVAC Performance, and Multifamily Domestic Hot Water Requirements

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a public workshop to present and discuss the proposed 2025 update to the Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code) related to cooling towers, process load pipe insulation, solar pool and spa heating, residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) performance, and multifamily domestic hot water requirements. These proposed updates aim to further encourage the use of cost-effective and technically feasible energy efficient building practices in the state.

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC plans to begin promptly at the start time posted. The end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
