Staff Workshop 2025 Energy Code Field Verification & Diagnostic Testing and Nonresidential HVAC Efficiency Requirements

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a public workshop to present and discuss proposed changes related to the Field Verification & Diagnostic Testing (FV&DT) administrative regulations to be added to the Title 24, Part 1 as part of the 2025 update to the Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code). Nonresidential HVAC efficiency requirements will also be presented and discussed. These proposed updates aim to further encourage the use of cost-effective and technically feasible energy efficient building practices in the state.

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC plans to begin promptly at the start time posted. The end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
