Add to CalendarThe California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a remote workshop to kick-off the proceeding to implement Senate Bill (SB) 48 (Becker, Chapter 378, Statutes of 2023) and to solicit comments from all interested parties, led by the CEC’s lead Commissioner for energy efficiency, J. Andrew McAllister. The purpose of this workshop is to receive public input on the development of the California Building Energy Performance Strategy Report, a strategy for using building benchmarking data to track and manage building energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions to achieve the state’s equity, energy, and environmental goals. As required by SB 48, the report will include recommendations for further legislative action.
The public may participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
