Add to CalendarThe California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a meeting to present the Assembly Bill (AB) 3 (Zbur, Chapter 314, Statutes of 2023) legislation and staff’s proposed scope and strategy for developing the required reports, and receive public comment on staff’s proposals. AB 3 requires the CEC to prepare and submit two reports to the Governor and Legislature on seaport readiness, and supply chain and workforce feasibility of achieving specified in-state assembly and manufacturing targets.
A quorum of CEC commissioners may participate, but no votes will be taken.
The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
