Staff Workshop on Energy Accounting Methodologies for the 2028 Energy Code

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a staff workshop to engage the public regarding development of the 2028 Energy Code. This workshop will focus on energy accounting methodologies and is part of the CEC’s pre-rulemaking activities, which include research and gathering of information necessary to conduct a future formal rulemaking proceeding. This workshop is not part of a formal rulemaking proceeding.

The workshop will be held remotely. The public can participate in the workshop as described below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the posted start time. The workshop may end before or after the posted end time, which is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. A quorum of commissioners may participate but no votes will be taken.
