The California Energy Commission (CEC) is in the pre-rulemaking phase to improve the energy and water efficiency of commercial dishwashers. The CEC is considering establishing efficiency standards, test procedures, marking requirements, certification requirements, and any other appropriate regulations for commercial dishwashers.
