Add to CalendarThe California Energy Commission, in collaboration with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison Company, and San Diego Gas & Electric Company will host the 11th annual Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC) Symposium on Tuesday, October 7, in the California Natural Resources Agency building in Sacramento.
Join the dialogue and discover the latest technologies, innovations, and research in the EPIC portfolio. The symposium will feature panel discussions with clean energy leaders, policy makers, researchers, and entrepreneurs focused on energy equity and affordability, battery safety, next-generation vehicle charging, large building decarbonization, and more!
EPIC advances clean electricity innovation and entrepreneurship to help California meet its energy and climate goals. More than $130 million is invested annually in public interest research, development, and demonstration projects that benefit electric ratepayers of the state’s three largest investor-owned utilities — Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison Company, and San Diego Gas & Electric Company. EPIC is funded by California utility customers under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. For more EPIC information, visit the EPIC Program webpage.

EPIC Grantees – Call for Videos
Interested in sharing your story as an EPIC grantee?
The CEC invites EPIC grant recipients to submit a video highlighting their clean energy technologies and innovative products and projects. Select videos will be showcased at the symposium and posted on the CEC’s YouTube channel. Submitted videos should demonstrate how the grant project technology or clean energy practices are accelerating California’s transition toward a safe, decarbonized, and resilient clean energy system. Videos should also highlight tangible benefits to a community or participants, as applicable. This is a key opportunity to share an EPIC-funded project with hundreds of key policy makers, industry leaders, legislative staff, and potential investors.
Videos should be three minutes or less in length. The deadline for submissions is Friday, September 5, 2025. For more information and the video submission application, visit Call for Videos - 2025 EPIC Symposium web page.

Displays will be showcased on the first and second floors of the CNRA building (715 P Street) in Sacramento. Booth space, which includes a six-foot table and chairs, is limited.
