IEPR Commissioner Workshop on Preliminary Transportation Energy Demand Forecast

The lead commissioner for the 2019 Integrated Energy Policy Report (2019 IEPR), Vice Chair Janea A. Scott will host a workshop to present the preliminary transportation energy demand forecast.

A quorum of Commissioners may participate, but no votes will be taken.

Energy Commission staff will provide an overview of the preliminary statewide vehicle and transportation energy demand forecast, including the conventional and statewide zeroemission vehicle population forecast. Staff and technical support contractors will review:

• Transportation energy demand forecast
• Overview of methods, models, and assumptions
• Vehicle attributes
• Light-duty/zero emission vehicle forecast
• Medium-duty/heavy-duty forecast
• Fuel demand forecast
• Off-road electrification
