Lead Commissioner Hearing - 2022 California Green Building Standards Code

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a Lead Commissioner Hearing led by Commissioner J. Andrew McAllister, the CEC’s lead commissioner on energy efficiency. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments on proposed revisions to California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 11 and Parts 2, 2.5, 3, 4, and 5. Other commissioners may attend and participate in this hearing. A quorum of commissioners may participate, but no votes will be taken. This hearing provides a second opportunity for comment in addition to the hearing held on July 27, 2021.

This hearing will be held remotely, consistent with Executive Order N-08-21 to continue to help California respond to, recover from, and mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The public can participate in the hearing consistent with the direction in the executive order. The record for this hearing will be kept open until every person has had an opportunity to provide comment.
