Staff Workshop on AB 209 Offshore Wind Waterfront Facilities Improvement Program

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop addressing the requirements of Assembly Bill (AB) 209 (Chapter 251, Statutes of 2022) for the CEC to develop and implement a program to support offshore wind infrastructure improvements. The workshop will explore the development of a funding program to advance the capabilities of California ports, harbors, and other waterfront facilities to support the buildout of offshore wind facilities and maximize the economic and environmental benefits of an offshore wind industry in California.

A quorum of commissioners may participate, but no votes will be taken.

Please note that the CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
