Add to CalendarStaff from the California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a remote-access workshop to discuss and receive feedback on a draft solicitation concept for an EV charger infrastructure project at military bases in California with the goal of accelerating zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) adoption. The proposed solicitation is intended to focus on EV infrastructure and charging station deployment for use by non-tactical government-owned vehicles and privately-owned vehicles with authorized access to military bases (e.g., personnel, delivery vehicles, visitors). In addition, the CEC intends to hear directly from the individual military departments in California and entities working for the military to better understand how State funds for EV charger infrastructure investments can best be used alongside Federal investments to increase EV charger deployment. Feedback received may be used in the development of a solicitation that the CEC plans to release in 2024.
The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
