Staff Workshop on SB X1-2 Pre-rulemaking

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a staff workshop on the proposed rulemaking to implement provisions of Public Resources Code section 25354, as amended by Senate Bill (SB) X1-2 (Stats. 2023, 1st Ex. Sess. 2023, ch. 1). Topics may include, but are not limited to, rules related to the data collection and analysis provisions in Public Resources Code section 25354, including the projections required pursuant to section 25354(c) and refinery maintenance reporting required pursuant to 25354(m).

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
