Workshop on Lithium Valley Vision

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to discuss potential strategies, actions and policies to: 1) help ensure lithium production from the Salton Sea region is competitive with global lithium supplies and prices; and 2) facilitate expanded geothermal and lithium production in the region in a responsible and locally beneficial manner. This workshop is being conducted by Lead Commissioner Noemi Gallardo in the Informational Proceeding on Lithium Valley Vision (Docket No. 24-OIIP-02)(Lithium Valley Vision proceeding).

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
