Scoping Workshop: Funding to Advance Integrated Planning of Gas System Decommissioning

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a scoping workshop to share staff’s proposed concept for funding research to advance integrated planning to support gas system decommissioning and to elicit public input on the proposed research concept. The workshop will address applied research needs in this area that could be supported by future grant funding opportunities under the Gas Research and Development Program. In developing a competitive solicitation, CEC staff will consider public comments received at the workshop and in the docket.

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted, and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
