Add to CalendarThe California Energy Commission (CEC) will conduct a workshop to discuss the current opportunities for development of the lithium industry in the Salton Sea region, including complementary industries and associated workforce needs and economic development priorities. Panelists will address existing support, resources gaps, challenges, and possibilities for additional resources to help the local community benefit from the development. This workshop is being conducted by Lead Commissioner Noemí Otilia Osuna Gallardo in the Informational Proceeding on Lithium Valley Vision (Docket No. 24-OIIP-02) (Lithium Valley Vision proceeding).
The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may start or end sooner or later than the posted times.
