California’s Building Energy Code Compliance Software – Residential (CBECC-Res) | CBECC-Res 2025.0.9b RV contains the 2025 long-term system cost, hourly source energy factors, and weather data updates. Additionally, version 2025.0.9b RV contains a new peak cooling energy calculation used for demonstrating compliance via the performance approach. A description of this peak cooling energy calculation has been docketed. This research version is based on CBECC-Res 2022 and contains the 2022 standard designs and rulesets except where noted above.
