In April 2021, the California Energy Commission (Energy Commission) released Grant Funding Opportunity GFO-20-607 to seek up to two block grant recipients to design and implement incentive projects for the deployment of light-duty EV chargers. The Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) was awarded an agreement for up to $250 million at the Energy Commission’s December 2021 Business Meeting. The incentive project under this agreement will be named CALeVIP 2.0.
Staff from the Energy Commission and CSE will collaborate to design CALeVIP 2.0 incentive projects with public input. Please utilize this docket to submit any comments, view events and their supporting documents, or to contact Energy Commission staff.
