In April 2021, the California Energy Commission (Energy Commission) released Grant Funding Opportunity GFO-20-607 to seek up to two block grant recipients to design and implement incentive projects for the deployment of light-duty EV chargers. The Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) was awarded an agreement for up to $250 million at the Energy Commission’s December 2021 Business Meeting. The incentive project under this agreement is named CALeVIP 2.0.
