EVENT POSTPONED - New Public Hearing Date and Notice of Availability of Second 15-Day Language Modification of Regulations Specifying Enforcement Procedures for the Renewables Portfolio Standard for Local Publicly Owned Electric Utilities

Introduction

The California Energy Commission (CEC) proposes to modify existing regulations establishing enforcement rules and procedures for the Renewables Portfolio Standard (RPS) for local publicly owned electric utilities (POUs) under Article 16 (commencing with section 399.11) of Chapter 2.3 of Part 1 of the Public Utilities Code. The existing regulations are found at Title 20, California Code of Regulations, sections 3201–3208 and 1240.

Public Adoption Hearing

The CEC will host a remote-access public hearing during the CEC’s September Business Meeting for consideration and possible adoption of the proposed regulations on the following date and time unless the CEC decides to consider additional changes to the Express Terms of the proposed regulations.
