Work Group Meeting #2 to Discuss Senate Bill (SB) 114 Funding for Zero-Emission School Buses and Infrastructure

The California Energy Commission (CEC) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) invite you to participate in the second public work group meeting to discuss funding for zero-emission school buses and infrastructure made available by Senate Bill (SB) 114 (Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review, Chapter 48, Statutes of 2023).

SB 114 appropriated a total of $500 million to the CEC and CARB for the 2023-2024 fiscal year to fund zero-emission school buses and supporting infrastructure through grants awarded to local educational agencies. The CEC and CARB have named this appropriation the “Zero Emission School Bus and Infrastructure” (ZESBI) grants.

To participate in the work group meeting, please register by 1:00 p.m. on April 3, 2024. Visit Webinar Registration - Zoom to register for the meeting.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information to join the webinar meeting either through a computer, digital device, or via conference line. Each meeting link in the confirmation email is unique so please do not share it with others. Every person that wishes to participate needs to register separately and use the unique link sent to them to access the webinar meeting. Please note that there is no in-person attendance option for this meeting. This meeting will be recorded. A link to the recording and a list of work group attendees will be available two weeks after the meeting date on the CARB’s Low Carbon Transportation Incentives webpage and CEC’s Zero Emission School Bus and Infrastructure Program webpage.
