The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a virtual workshop to obtain input from stakeholders to support the development of a forthcoming solicitation for a Statewide Implementer (SWI) for California’s Home Efficiency Rebates (HOMES) Pay for Performance (P4P) Program.

The CEC is deploying a portion of its Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) authorized HOMES award from U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to establish a statewide program in which rebates will be paid based on energy savings measured at the meter. The SWI will be responsible for deploying over $90 million in rebates, allowing California residents to make efficiency improvements to their homes. Homeowners will receive their portion of the expected rebate value at the time of installation.

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
