To increase the market adoption of zero-emission behind-the-meter (BTM) backup power systems in existing permanently fixed residential units by use of modular “plug-in-play ready” power electronic technologies that can simplify the materials needed, streamline the interconnection process, and reduce balance-of-system (BOS) costs associated with installation of the backup power systems while also allowing customers to chose which loads are critical for them to power in outage events.
