Advancing Gas Decommissioning Integrated Planning Tool

Advance a data-driven decommissioning planning tool to include integration of a more complete accounting of gas decommissioning costs, consideration of emerging clean energy options, and planning across a range of timescales. The research will support cost-effective, safe and equitable decarbonization that is informed by consumer and community perspectives and priorities, while addressing the timing of infrastructure investments and the pragmatics of system upgrades.
