Purpose
The purpose of this solicitation is to fund research that improves the understanding of real-world non-driving electric vehicle energy efficiency, including when idling, charging, or discharging for vehicle-to-everything use cases. This research will contribute to improved consumer awareness, load forecasting, energy efficiency-aware policies as electric vehicle adoption continues to scale in California.
