Workshop on Staff Proposal for Electric Vehicle Charging Station Utilization Reporting Regulations

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a workshop to discuss a revised staff proposal for new regulations that will require select electric vehicle (EV) charging station operators to report the utilization session data of charging stations. This workshop will focus exclusively on a revised staff proposal for utilization and session data reporting of charging stations and will solicit public feedback. The proposed regulations also include reliability performance standards and charger inventory data reporting requirements, but this workshop will not focus on regulatory content related to charger station inventory or reliability. A quorum of commissioners may participate, but no votes will be taken.

The public can participate in the workshop consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The workshop may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
