Purpose
The purpose of this solicitation is to fund applied research and development projects that improve both understanding of non-driving electric vehicle (EV) efficiency and its associated impact on customers and the electric grid. This solicitation aligns with the approved Electric Program Investment Charge 2021-2025 (EPIC 4) Investment Plan’s strategic objective to increase the value proposition of distributed energy resources to customers and the grid, strategic initiative on transportation electrification, and research topic area on efficient transportation electrification and charging technologies.
