Purpose
The purpose of this solicitation is to fund demonstration projects that install point-source carbon capture equipment at California industrial facilities, coupled with advanced combustion system retrofits that increase CO2 concentration in flue gas, reduce fuel consumption, and lower NOx emissions. Projects must demonstrate integrated approaches in which combustion upgrades and carbon capture operate together as one system to address both GHG and criteria pollutant emissions.
