The California Energy Commission is updating the Enforcement Procedures for the Renewables Portfolio Standard for Local Publicly Owned Electric Utilities to implement changes in law from Senate Bill (SB) 350 (De León, Stats. 2015, ch. 547), SB 1393 (De León, Stats. 2016, ch. 677), SB 100 (De León, Stats. 2018, ch. 312), and SB 1110 (Bradford, Stats. 2018, ch. 605). The proposed modifications implement changes to RPS procurement requirements, optional compliance measures, reporting requirements, and special exemptions and exclusions. Additional modifications are also proposed to facilitate program implementation and improve clarity.
