Purpose

The purpose of this solicitation is to provide cost share funding for eligible projects (see Section II.C. of GFO-22-903) to applicants that apply for and receive an award under an eligible federal Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).


On January 10, 2024, Governor Newsom released the 2024-25 State Budget Proposal, which called for reducing the Clean Hydrogen Program funding from $100 million to $65 million. As such, the total available funding for this solicitation has been reduced from $20,000,000 to $3,137,500. Please note: this funding amount is subject to change.
